The Trump II Administration Bars Harvard From Enrolling Foreign Students
The Trump Administration rescinded Harvard University's ability to enroll international students. Thousands of currently enrolled international students will need to transfer to other schools or return home. The Department of Homeland Security said that the university had created an unsafe environment by allowing "Anti-American, pro-terrorist agitators" to assault Jewish students. The university responded with a lawsuit the following day, and the judge granted the university "[a temporary restraining order](https://www.theguardian.com/education/2025/may/23/harvard-university-sues-trump-administration-ban-foreign-students)."
