Trump II IRS Says Churches Can Now Endorse Political Candidates

Reversing policy that's been in place for decades (since 1954), the IRS says it will allow churches to endorse political candidates from the pulpit, without losing their tax-exempt status. Only one church has lost its exemption due to the rule (known as the Johnson Amendment) and in practice it has been rarely enforced.
