Excluding Certain Canadian Products from Importation into the United States in Response to Continued Discrimination Against the Commerce of the United States with Respect to Dairy

This proclamation excludes certain Canadian products from U.S. importation beginning September 8, 2026, in response to Canada’s continued tariff-rate quota measures affecting U.S. dairy, particularly cheese. It maintains that additional duties imposed under an earlier proclamation became effective August 22, 2026, after Canada allegedly failed to remove the measures, and directs federal agencies to implement the specified product exclusions and related trade actions.
