Constitution Day, Citizenship Day, and Constitution Week are proclaimed for September 17–23, 2026, marking the 239th anniversary of the Constitution’s signing and recognizing the responsibilities of U.S. citizenship. The proclamation encourages Americans to study the Constitution, honor its principles and historical signers, and reaffirm commitments to liberty, the rule of law, and representative government.
