Judge Blocks DHS Immigration Arrests as Likely Illegal

A federal judge ruled that ICE agents were conducting roving immigration raids without "reasonable suspicion" and instead were relying on improper factors like race, accent, and line of work to apprehend people. The ruling halts the roving raids, at least temporarily. The judge also ordered that DHS provide detainees with access to telephones and legal counsel while detained.
