The order directs the Departments of War and Veterans Affairs to establish, within 180 days, systems and policies for continuous sharing of veterans’ personnel and medical records, and to immediately transfer current records when service members leave the Armed Forces. It also directs those departments to create within 180 days an artificial-intelligence-enabled, single-access system for veterans’ benefits, job training, and employment opportunities, in consultation with the Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services and the Office of Management and Budget.
